Product criticities
- The product presents complex geometries, with strict requirements about geometric and dimensional stability.
- The object must be hydrocarbon-resistant, and it will also withstand high temperatures during its normal functioning conditions.
- Hydraulic tightness is required, up to the pressure value specified by the customer.
- Forecasts indicate very high production volumes: the mould must be capable of producing in a reliable way, without causing any machine downtime.

Solutions
- The most suitable material for this application is a particular type of tecnopolymer, presenting a great resistance to high temperatures and to contact with chemicals. Its volume shrinkage rate is very low, and this allows to almost completely eliminate the typical distortions involved in the injection moulding process.
- Hydraulic tightness on valve seats is guaranteed by a diamond finished surface. In addition, our quality control periodically checks the product to ensure the absence of flashes. Injection parameter have been set to optimize product appearance.
- The mould is built with hardened steel: this reduces the erosion caused by the flowing of molten plastic, thus maximizing tool service life.
